POST 6

A career-related website that I enjoy visiting.

I don't know how much this is career related, but Sci-Hub (https://sci-hub.se/) has to be one of the site that I have visited in all the time I have been in this career.

The website it´s pretty simple to use, it´s have big white bar in the center of the page where you enter a link or Doi of a  paper that you want to read, but is behind a paywall, so put the link in Sci-Hub and you can have free access to it without paying. In the website you can also have a section where you can see the datebase of paper that they are in the page, information about the protect, a
little biography of Alexandra Elbakyan (the creator of the website), stats and a section to donate.

I use this website every time I have a  investigation about a topic to make, not as the first source in where I look up information, but where I end up going in the end, because mostly of the scientific information that I need to read is from page that requires me paying to have access to the paper, so Sci-Hub come handy in this type of situation.

What I like about this site is pretty simple, it's a tool to free the knowledge in the world that has been kidnapped by scientific journals. It´s help to liberate information that can be useful to a lot of people in divers fields of work, not only mine. Plus the crow in the logo is pretty sick am I right?
